New Diesel Generator Sets from Kohler Feature Improved Enclosures for Asia Pacific Markets
Changzhou, China – November, 2008 – Kohler Power Systems (www.Kohler.com.sg) has launched its new international diesel range with a new and improved enclosure design.
Built for reliability with self-diagnostic features, KOHLER diesel generator sets are designed with compactness and durability in mind for standby and prime power applications. Available from 5.5kVA to 700 kVA at 50Hz, these new diesel generator sets meet the 2000/14/CE noise emission standards.
The new KOHLER diesel generator line features a plug-and-play enclosure design, which results in a less complex installation process and requires minimum cabling. KOHLER generator sets can be shipped with pre-assembled enclosures, ensuring seamless and efficient integration into any organization’s power system.
The new KOHLER enclosures feature electro-galvanized steel panels that are coated with heat-hardening powder, which provides rust protection to withstand the most harsh environments. The new KOHLER enclosures were also designed with safety and ease of maintenance in mind. Behind lockable doors, the user can access diesel, oil and the battery, while a separate door allows access to the generator control panel. The control panel is also visible through a glass window panel on the enclosure door. An additional emergency stop button is installed outside the enclosure. The generator is accessible through doors on each side, and drainage points are designed for diesel, oil and coolant.
